NOW, FOR FREE?

In every life
there is a time to let go of the past, and move forward towards the future.
When I first wrote Scruggs and Samantha,
How a Shelter Dog and Kitten Saved Cinderella’s Marriage, it started as a
series of short stories about my wonderful dog, Scruggs, and the very special
black kitten, Samantha. Somehow it grew into a story not only about my animals,
but also a love story.
My Prince Charming, my husband of
twenty-five years, and law partner for more than twenty-six are getting up
there in age. So too, are my animals. As you see, Scruggs is getting white
around the muzzle, and Samantha has grown into a very rotund black Queen of the
Universe.
Sadly, some of the animals in the book
have moved on to be with their Maker. Caesar is gone more than three years now,
lost to cancer. Tara, my wonderful, intelligent, patient Rottweiler is no more
than twelve years-old, making her a very senior citizen. She has had multiple
health issues in this last year, and on God knows how much longer she will be
with us. I pray every day that she is still happy to spend time here on earth
with her human companions.
So, now seems to be the right time to share this book
with everyone before Scruggs family is lost. This blog will release the entire
book over these coming weeks and days. However, if you wish to purchase the
